Licence and Host Responsibility

Hygge Limited (trading as Te Wa Estate Wines) has a responsibility to provide an online store that is not only understandable and welcoming, but where alcohol is sold to be consumed responsibly.

Because of this we have implemented the following Host Responsibility Policy:

1. It is against the law to sell alcohol to minors. Our site requests that you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. If we are in doubt about your age we will ask for identification. Acceptable forms of proof of age are a current photo drivers licence, and 18+ evidence of age card or a current passport.
2. Wine sales are for delivery only, and wine sales will not be delivered if the person purchasing the wine is unable to sign for the shipment. ID will be required.
3. Our policy is zero tolerance for aggressive, coercive or violent behaviour. If the purchaser shows signs of intoxication, or any of the behaviours above, at the time of delivery then the wine will withheld.
4. We maintain a training and management Policy to ensure our staff have the skills and support needed to undertake their job responsibly.
